Pirates have steadily held our fancy for many years. Hollywood produced a variety of really good swashbuckling movies over the years.
But the fever pitch reached quite a height when Johnny Depp created Captain Jack Sparrow for the Disney film series Pirates of the Caribbean.

A different type of fantasy that will keep you reading late into the night. This story is a combination of pirate and fantasy rolled into one. Though this is a stand alone tale, it clearly sets a strong foundation for future adventures of the Promise named Kestrel…
… I found it fascinating to follow her and see the surprises, betrayals, and fights (on sea and on land) as they happened to her.
If you are looking to continue your love affair with pirates then Mad Kestrel may be a late night pirate fantasy that keeps turning the pages well into the morning hours when you should be sleeping.
